Welcome Parents and Students to Kindergarten at Faith Ringgold School!
It was great to meet students and parents during the first two days of school. This year will be filled with studying letter sounds, learning to read, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education, art and music. I am also establishing high expectations and routines, which are the foundation for a successful school year.
Our behavior expectations are:
1. Be ready to learn.
2. Listen carefully.
3. Raise your hand to speak.
4. Be respectful.
Being respectful includes treating people the way you want to be treated.
Our schedule begins at 8:30 A.M. Students will be dismissed at 12:40 P.M. beginning August 14th, through September 4th, 2025. Beginning September 5th, students will be dismissed at 1:10 P.M. until further notice.
Our morning recess is at 9:45 A.M. Please provide a snack for your child if you would like for your child to have a snack during morning recess. Our lunch time is at 11:30 A.M. Students may get lunch from the cafeteria or bring their own lunch.
Finally, information was sent home in each student’s homework folder last Friday. Please return the homework folder tomorrow (Monday). Also, when homework is given, it is due the next day. Here is the link to our Google Classroom. https://classroom.google.com/
