Hello Faith Ringgold (Eagles) Family,

Welcome to Mr. Carson’s  5th & 6th Grade Class

My name is Kino Carson and I am excited to have the opportunity to be your student’s  instructor for the 2025-2026  school year. I am looking forward to working with our children to help increase their capacity in English Language Arts, Mathematics, History & Science. As you are aware the education profession requires hard work, dedication and sacrifice in order to ensure that students are academically  successful. Today it takes a special individual to work with our youth, nevertheless to see the excitement and energy our students bring to class everyday is a blessing and something that I look forward to every class period.

I served as an Administrator in the bay area for over 16 years, originally born and raised in Oakland , CA.  I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University where I received my Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Education. After graduation, I spent eight years teaching to underprivileged youth in low Socio- economic communities such as Oakland Unified, Twinrivers Unified and Lodi Unified, whereas I helped students to overcome their academic and socio-emotional proficiencies. I have been successful in helping students to find their own personal success. I am often invited to share my experience with school districts throughout the nation. It was this experience that inspired me to pursue Educational Leadership and in 2004 I graduated from Sacramento State University receiving my California Administrator Credential in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies through the Urban Cohort Program. I have a drive to see students succeed academically and socially.  I believe that all students can perform at or above grade level standards if properly motivated. I understand the dynamics of their daily lives having grown up in the Bay Area myself. My passion and determination challenges the entire classroom to achieve greater levels of expertise and accountability and with this passion, I am always monitoring my own personal growth as well, I am serious about the success of children..
