English Language Advisory Committee

Guided by the Master Plan for English Language Learners and committed to student, teacher and parent success, we support a powerful instructional program for English Language Learners, Grades K-12.

The Department of English Language Learners provides on-going support to our district's programs designed for students with non-English language backgrounds who arrive in our schools without a full command of the English language. Our main charge is to coordinate services, create resources and provide professional development and support to district staff tasked with instructing our English Learners (ELs) and providing resources and professional development for their families.
